Final Cut Pro Steps

1.     Open Final Cut Pro

2.     If the error box doesn’t appear – click Final Cut Pro – System Settings

3.     If the error box does appear – click reset scratch disks and do the same as above

4.     Set the top and bottom three scratch disks to your USB

5.     Final Cut Pro – Easy Setup

6.     Format: Apple Intermediate Codec

7.     Rate: 29.97fps

8.     Use: HDV-Apple Intermediate Codec 720p30 – click setup

9.     Delete sequence 1

10. File – New – Sequence

11. Double click on the new sequence to open the timeline

12. A bin can also be created to store videos – File – new – bin
